Q: 36 weeks and pain when he moves?

I am 36 weeks and at 34+5 they did a growth scan showing we had a 7 1/2 pound baby (I know these have a margin of error, but he's still big). Here recently, every time he moves, especially down low, it really hurts. It feels like someone is tearing my insides up. Is this normal? His movements are getting lower and lower, which I am assuming it's because he's getting ready for birth. I also have a ton of pressure down in my lower stomach/pelvis area and a whole bunch more discharge. I know everyone is different, but when did labor start for you after this? I've been feeling like he's going to fall out for about 10 days.

Hi! I'm 37+5 weeks today and have been having the same sharp, very low pain (literally feels like it's right in my cervix) and lots of pressure for the past couple weeks and at times it is painful when he moves. MY OB told me 2 weeks ago that he was pretty much fully engaged. This is my second pregnancy - I had the same with my first as well and went on to be induced at exactly 42 weeks! So - really no telling when/if you will go into labor unfortunately. I'm hoping that my body actually goes into labor on it's own this time! Good luck!
