Q: Nervous about having an ectopic pregnancy.

I believe im about 6 weeks now but I know I conceived about 3 weeks ago but I guess they count it from the day of your last period. I have been spotting for the last week and been having pain by my Bikini line. went to the doc yesterday and they did not see anything In my uterus. I'm so afraid it might be an ectopic. I took a blood test yesterday and my hcg levels were 817. I have another blood test tomorrow and go back to the doc on Thursday. he said I could be having a miscarriage or worst case an ectopic. but isn't it too early for a sac to show now anyway?
please help!

There are some places that offer free ultrasounds to confirm that baby is in the right place. When was your lmp?

First of all try not to worry too much. i know that's hard to do . Dont let them convince you its Ectopic right away because i went through the same thing . they did an ultrasound and said it was most likely an ectopic pregnancy . and it was not . first of all you cant even see anything in the uterus until you hcg levels are even at 2000 .not even a gestational sac. So try not to worry about it being ectopic and as far as the slight bleeding . it could just be implantation bleeding iv heard a lot of woman can get that. just try to stay positive about it. ! but if you do get severe cramping and severe bleeding go in right away . best of luck to you !
