Q: 7w4d's pregnancy test a tiny bit lighter? Please please help. I am terrified.

Hi guys,

I have been driving myself crazy waiting for my appointment and I stupidly took a FRER this morning and I cant help but see that it is lighter then one I took last weekend. Still dark, just about as much as the control line, maybe a little lighter. Is this something to worry about? I am in a complete panic as I have had losses before. Please help.

Nameless I was Just reading about that last night! So crazy, I had no idea that happened. I suppose this is why they say not to keep testing. I don't have any more tests to try on and I don't think I want to buy more, it messes me up so much. I did end up calling the doctor for some blood tests. First draw came back at 108693, I will take second tomorrow. Trying to take comfort in knowing that the numbers are very high and just praying they keep rising....

It could possibly be the hook effect. I tested around 7 weeks and my test was SUPER light. The next time I went to pee I put some water in the cup with the pee to dilute it and actually got a better line. Maybe try that?

Some tests also just have less dye than others.

I'm sorry, that would scare me too. It could very well be just a fluke, try not to get upset just yet. Take another test, first thing in the morning and see how dark it is. If you aren't having any cramping or bleeding that is a good sign. God Bless!
