About Me

Hey! My name is Brooke! I am 22 yrs old. I just found out that I'm pregnant! Still in shock! Took my boyfriend (of 4 years) and I 6 months until we finally get to say we're PREGNANT!!!

Update: We are having a GIRL!!!!!!!

My Birth Plan

I guess I came into this pregnancy not really understanding all there is to labor and birth! Since finding out I have done a lot of reading about pain meds, different position, c-sections, tears...all the fun things!

I have decided that I would like to labor for as long as I can, but then definitely get the lovely epidural that I've heard so much about!

I would like it to only be the doc, nurses, and my boyfriend and I in the room throughout labor and delivery.

I would love to be able to push while in the reclining position. Also no surgical cuts allowed!!!!!

My boyfriend will be cutting the umbilical cord.

Once baby is cleaned off I want the baby to be handed to daddy right away and then to me!

I will then breastfeed as soon as I can.

Would really like no visitors for the first 2 hours.

And I want daddy or I present for everything that happens with baby girl!

I understand that plans can always change, so I will go into labor and delivery with a wish and a open mind!

Too cool I am so excited for you. I will be exactly 11 weeks on the 24th, when i have my next OB appointment. It will be the first time hearing my baby on that doppler. However, this week I am ordering my doppler to have at home. It is like 35 bucks a month.

So you have an ultrasound on the 23rd? I can't remember if you told me or not. I heard my babys heartbeat on the ultrasound at 6 weeks, but the doppler at the doc office doesn't work until 10-12 weeks. So I finally get to hear my babys heartbeat on the doppler April 24th :-)

I think you will be fine. Rule of thumb...the sicker you are, the healthier the baby! :-) so when I am hugging the toilet all day, I count my blessings!

Did I ever tell you that with my first two pregnancies I PUKED from 6 weeks all the way until delivery day??? I mean EVERYDAY I was miserable. Both girls. This time I am nauseous sometimes. Has to be a boy. I mean it was so bad. Anyways..... I hope you get better...but if it gets really bad, ask your doc for zofran. It will save your life lol. Saved mine. Well not literally, but it made my pregnancy Soooooooooooooo much easier. I am doing good. I keep getting super hungry, all the time. then I go to eat..... And no appetite! Pissed me off! Lol!!! I hope today is better..I have yet to eat. O_o
