Girl! I deep down had a feeling it was a girl! I am proud to announce that Delaney Elizabeth was born yesterday weighing 5lbs 7oz. She needs help with her breathing and learning to feed so we have a long road ahead of us but she's apunky so I know everything will be ok eventually. Thank you all for sharing your personal stories with me! I am also hanging in there. The c section this time around wasn't as bad the first time and I seem to be recovering faster. I will update more when I have a chance! ThanKS again for the love and support!

Comment from babylove14 » Posted Aug. 26, 2016 6:25am Are you pumping every 2hrs? That's what they had me do ny baby was in the nicu. Not to scare you, but i had complications from my c section and was in too much pain at first but once i felt well enough to actually pump regularly, i was pumping 1oz, then, 2oz, then 5oz per session within the next few days. It's harder when they can't latch yet buy you can do it!! Congratulations and I'm praying for both of you!!
Comment from Starmama14 » Posted Aug. 26, 2016 6:08am Thanks ladies for the well wishes and sharing your stories with me as well. Delaney had a great day in the Nicu yesterday and I can only hope she will have another one today. I am doing good too. The second time around is much easier than the first that's for sure. The only real issue I am having at the moment is getting any breast milk when I pump. I know it's early yet so I am not too concerned but I really want to be able to at least give Delaney a litthe bit when she's ready!
Comment from adiggs » Posted Aug. 25, 2016 2:21pm I am so glad you are both okay. Hugs
Comment from WaitingwithHope » Posted Aug. 25, 2016 11:55am Congratulations!! Awesome weight for 34 weeks!
Comment from Overthinker » Posted Aug. 25, 2016 9:40am What a perfect little chunky 34 weeker! She is going to do great. I'm sure you've heard this by now, but girls do better in NICU than boys, so she will cruise right through this. (Grace was out a week before Wesley. Ha!) Great job, mom, getting her to this point. You truly set her up for success! I understand the breathing thing, Wesley was on CPAP and oxygen for about a week, but then he was good to go and it was all about learning how to eat. Rest up, heal, and know good things are coming for you and little Delaney. Sending prayers and congratulations!
