4th Ultrasound

Well we have officially "graduated" from our fertility clinic! We went this morning and had our last ultrasound there. The baby had a growth spurt! We were expecting 8 weeks even but baby measured 8 weeks 4-5 days. (She measured twice because the first time was 8+5 and the second time was 8+4, so she is confident it is in that window) She pointed out the 2 arm buds, 2 leg buds, head, rump, spine, 4 chambers of heart, and even the amniotic sac around the baby. It's heart was going strong at 176. Growing like a weed! :) My RE stopped in after to congratulate us and officially release us to the Ob/gyn. He said everything is looking so great and that things work out as they are supposed to. He told me that after having seen me for 3 years nearly, he hasn't had many patients with that kind of perseverance.
It was bittersweet, because I LOVE the nurses at the clinic, but moving to OB/gyn means this pregnancy is going well.
So anyway...wonderful check up today. I have my first Ob/gyn appointment next Friday. (March 9) So feeling wonderful and just going to keep doing what I'm doing. :)

Comment from Mem401 » Posted Mar. 1, 2018 1:47pm They didn’t say. Since we are having to rely solely on measurements for dating it gets confusing. I’m going to leave everything alone and ask my Ob/gyn next week what I should do. I guess I’m now 8 weeks 5 days? Idk. |
