Prayers for our family tonight, please!

Not baby related, but I'd appreciate prayers, good vibes, happy juju, and healing thoughts sent our family's way ... Anything you've got, whatever your personal belief system! My dad is having major spinal surgery tomorrow early morning, and since its in his cervical spine the biggest risks are death or total paralysis. We're confident in his very talented surgeon, but everyone is still terrified, he only turned 53 last month.
Max adores his 'popter' and I am counting on him being here to meet and hold his first granddaughter in January. Please keep us in your thoughts tonight, I'm really struggling to stay positive and keep the faith that all will be well!
UPDATE: Dad caught the cold Max and I had so bad last week, so surgery is a no go. They r scheduled to 11/25, so we have 13 more days for extra hugs and snuggles and to emotionally prepare!
