After I jounraled yesterday and was talking to Jeff about how I was worried the baby wasn't moving once he told me he had been reading the 'What to Expect When Your Expecting' book and it said that this early in the pg it can be normal to not feel the baby at all for days at a time. So the fact I was feeling baby yesterday was good. And he/she got pretty active last night. AND hasn't stopped since!! I woke up at 1:30am and she/he was moving like crazy. The craziness continued until about noon. I mean it was non-stop! It was awesome! I loved every minute of it.
So I guess I am not going to the Gala. My boss said I'd feel like too much of a 5th wheen because it was going to be all couples from my company. I was kinda bummed but also relieved. If I wasn't pregnant I would have put up a big stink about how that shouldn't matter since people can be single. What if I was single?? Would that mean I wouldn't have even been invited? Kinda odd but I let it go.
So I really wanted to take Monday as a vacation day but I just got waaaaaaaaaaaaay too much shit dumped on me today so I've decided I have to go in :( Major bummer since I have 11 vacation days to burn before the end of the year... I am sure I won't be able to use them all. Thats ok though because I have had A LOT of time off for doctor's appointments and whatnot and they didn't make me use any sick time or vacation days.
I am so happy its Friday but I am not looking forward to walking tomorrow. Not at all!
