I am 75% through my pregnancy!! Woohoo!! I cannot believe little Rella will be here in 10 weeks! Hopefully not longer. I know as I near her due date I will be ready to give birth. My back acts up most days but I get a break from back pain every once in a while.
My food/acid reflux issues are getting BAD. I've pretty much stopped eating after 1pm in order to not wake up choking on food or acid. The heartburn has been nipped in the bud for the most part by the protonix but the food/acid reflux is horrible. I woke up 4 times Saturday night choking. Because its Christmas eve I will eat later tonight and I am sure I won't be able to sleep because of it. Oh well. I have the day after Christmas off so I can catch up on sleep then.
My weight has been doing pretty good. I've gained 2 pounds over the last 4 weeks. I was hoping for 1 pound over 4 weeks but I really can't complain. With Christmas and new years though I am sure I will gain a couple pounds :(
Rella has been moving so much and I love it. It is my favorite thing in the world to feel my little girl move. I am perlexed though when I think of what position she could possibly be in.. where I feel the kicks and jabs it just doesn't make any sense..
Things are going downhill as far as the holiday is concerned for my family. DH has been fighting a cold since Wednesday but woke up with a fever this morning. He called me and asked where the thermometers were. I told thm they were both in my nightstand. He only could find my bbt thermometer and wouldn't use it at first claiming he was positive he'd seen my take my temp vaginally. What a nutcase. He is dead asleep when I would take my temp and I've never done that. It was kind of funny.. Anyway, temp came back at 101.14. So he isn't going with my to my Aunt's tonight. Then I got an email from my mom saying my dad most likely isn't going either because he is sick :(. I am so bummed. Then tomorrow the festivities at dh's mom's have been cancelled because dh and our niece is sick. I can still go to my other Aunt's house but I don't want to leave dh on Christmas. Sad all around. I just wish my dad and dh felt better. They are both pretty bad off. Oh! And to make matters worse my boss has the flu. Luckily I wasn't in the office yesterday but I am just hoping none of his germs lingered around to attack me!
It just is sad to me that dh and I won't be spending the holiday together or with our families, especially since this is the last Christmas that it'll be just the 2 of us.
