Announcement Ideas

4 weeks 2 days pregnant today. Still early, but still excited. Cramps here and there, but nothing terribly painful. I've heard the more cramping and discomfort you have, the better chance you have at a very sticky baby. Either way, I pray we will be meeting this baby in July.

In the meantime, we have decided to hold out on telling our families until Christmas. His family lives here in Alabama near us, and my family now lives in Nevada. We will be flying to my parent's a couple days after Christmas on the 28th. I've booked a photography session with a girl we know on December 14th, the day after our first OB visit and ultrasound, to have our announcement photos taken. I have lots of ideas on poses and such. Pinterest is the best right now! :) I can't wait to see the finished product! Our plans are to select our favorite pose/photo and have it framed in a cute little frame with mats and all to give my parents as a gift for Christmas. Also, we plan to have them open it together and record it to get their reactions. I'm so excited about it! Christmas cannot come fast enough! :)

It is going to be so hard to make it through Thanksgiving without telling anyone. Ugh, so hard! But, telling them at Christmas will just be so much better! I will be about 10 weeks at that time. So, a little closer to being out of the "danger zone." We are so excited!

No real symptoms yet, just the mild cramps from time to time. Boobs aren't sore yet, no morning sickness (KNOCK ON WOOD!). I know they say morning sickness doesn't usually set in until 5 or 6 weeks. I'll be 5 weeks this Thursday, so we will see what happens. I'm praying for very little or no morning sickness. How could I get so lucky? :)

Anyways, that's what's going on for now. Hoping to update soon with new news.

I had no morning sickness at all with my son, but it hit me with this baby just today. I had been feeling a little nauseous for a couple of weeks, but today it really hit. Didn't get me until 7w2d ;)
