Stupid, I know...

Today was a good day. I've felt a lot better than I have the past few days. This head cold/sinus stuff seems like it is trying to make it's way out. Just dealing with the drainage, snorting and hacking and swallowing now. I hope it's gone soon. I'm sick of dealing with it. Ugh.
Today was the first day we ;) ;) since we found out. Haha! My first concern was "Is it safe for me to orgasm?" I know it's probably a dumb concern, but this is my first rodeo. I don't know these things. I mean, I figured pregnant women have been having sex and orgasms for hundreds of years now, so it should be fine, but that didn't keep me from "googling" it anyways. Lol!
I looked into Amazon Mom today. Not as much of a deal as I thought it was going to be. Maybe for some. As convenient as it would be to have all my diapers and wipes and such delivered straight to my house, it didn't seem to be much more cost efficient than just going to the local Walmart or Target to get all of it. I will be starting my diaper stash soon. I've been saying for a while that once we found out we were pregnant I would start buying a box or two every couple of pay checks to start stocking up. By the time the baby gets here we should be good on diapers and wipes. So long as baby doesn't end up being allergic or whatnot to the diapers that I decide to use. I don't think
I'll be cloth diapering. Just seems like a lot more work, even if it does save you a little money. We are an on-the-go-couple as it is, I don't see it slowing down any once baby gets here. So, for now I think we will just go with disposable.
I changed our photography session to a different photographer today. She is more expensive, but I am a lot more familiar with her work and I went to school with her younger brother, so I decided to stick with her. This is a big deal in our lives and I want to try to be sure I will be absolutely happy with what we end up with. I know she does beautiful photos and she is so creative and talented. I'm super excited to talk with her tomorrow about our plans.
We may be purchasing the crib and dresser/changing table from my neighbor who's brother is selling a lot of his furniture from a previous marriage. Practically brand new furniture, and at half the price. Why not cut corners and save a little money where we can? That way we can spend more money on something else I'm sure I will find that I won't be able to live without! :)
I can't wait until the end of December to tell our families. I'm still so nervous about it all, but I'm excited for the next few weeks to pass so we can go to our first OB appointment and see our baby for the first time and hear/see his or her little heartbeat. I'm not sure how I will react. Smile continuously or bawl my eyes out? :P
Anyways, we will be putting the tree up soon, so I am excited for that, too. This time next year we will be celebrating the holidays with a new baby. :)
