7w1d - Ultrasound?

Well, looks like we might get a sneak peek at our little baby this afternoon instead of having to wait another week until my first OB appointment! I work in the ultrasound dept. at a hospital and I finally told the girls I work with today that I'm pregnant, because they knew my situation and kept asking what was going on. LOL! I couldn't lie any longer. My face was beat red! But, I had to swear them all to the secrecy of our break room because a lot of people know me here at the hospital and know a lot of other people that know me, and we haven't told our parents yet! So, needless to say I'm kinda nervous for the time to hurry and pass so we can let the cat out of the bag for everyone and not have to worry whether or not people are gonna blab! Ugh!
But, back to the u/s. I am so excited and so nervous and scared at the same time. Excited because we finally get to see our baby for the first time. Scared because I fear bad news. Nervous because I fear seeing nothing when we get in there, despite how sore my boobies and nipples are, and how tired I am all the time, and the light cramping I get from time to time. Just scared. I will be happy to get the reassurance.
The upside to all of this, if everything goes well, we get to see our baby this week AND next Friday at our first OB/ultrasound appointment with my new doctor! :) Yayyy! Wish me luck, ladies! I'm freaking out. I will post pictures as soon as I get them!
