Round 2

Well, hubs and I got off work today due to the snow storm we have going on. The roads were terrible. Still are. It was nice to sleep late. We still were up at 8. Snow still on the ground. While it's pretty to look at, I'm not one that likes the cold or not being able to get out anywhere. So, today we have just been laying around watching TV, napping. I made some Tyson Anytizers buffalo bites for lunch. Pretty good. I then went to brush my teeth and take a shower. I have been having this after taste in my mouth for weeks. No matter what I eat or drink, it's like stuck on the back of my tongue. Ugh. So, needless to say, I tried to brush it off with my toothbrush aaaaand of course I gagged, and felt like I was about to puke for a minute, and then I did puke. I ran from the sink to the toilet and heaved every bite of food I've eaten today straight down the crapper. Ugh. I hate to puke. That's vomit #2 so far this 15 weeks of pregnancy. I'd say I'm doing good. Both times were basically my fault. Basically. About that... 15 weeks. Tomorrow. I can't believe how the time has passed so quickly. I still worry every day that something crazy will happen and we won't get to meet our little one, but I try not to think that way. I look forward to finally feeling the kicks and the butterflies. They say anywhere from 16 weeks to 25 weeks. Gosh, I hope it's sooner than 25 weeks! I seem to have a few new stretch marks come up. I don't remember them being there before, they are higher up and towards the center of my stomach. A few inches above my belly button. My face is so dry. More dry than it has been. That could also be because it's been super cold outside and windy. Nips are getting puffy and darker. Slowly, but surely. Not much nausea until I gag myself. Slight backache some days.

Anyways, I get another snow day tomorrow. Kinda glad about it, but also need the hours on my check next week. Oh well.

I'm with you, brushing my teeth has become an unpleasant experience more often than not lately.

I think it's because since my gag reflex has gotten worse, I haven't been able to brush my teeth as well as before. ESPECIALLY my tongue. I want to brush it really good so bad, but I do not want to puke.

OMG I thought it was just me with the after taste! Everything I eat just seems to hang in my mouth long after it's gone. I have to drink a ton to make it go away, and sometimes it doesn't. I remember waking up one morning and still tasting the bread from a PB&J I had the night before - thank you for making me feel less crazy. :)
