Hubby and I sat down last night and decided on a bedding/nursery theme together. We ended up going with one I've been lookin at since before I was pregnant and now it was on sale super cheap so we spent under $200 for the quilt, dust ruffel, diaper stack, fitted sheet, mobile, bumpers, and changing pad cover. Score! I love it and can't wait for it all to come in the mail! It'll be like Christmas! Haha!
My husband's stepmom (2nd mother in law to me) wants me to start looking at some invitations online to find some I like so that my father in law can design and print them at work (he works in a company print shop). So I'm excited to see how those come out! He is good with designing stuff with Print Shop and Paint Shop Pro on the computer. I can't decide if I want the shower theme to match the nursery theme or do something completely different. I've already looked and especially in etsy.com, there are some matching shower invitations someone has created that are adorable! And that way I guess people can get a peak at what the nursery is going to look like without actually seeing the nursery. Either way it will be cute, I'm sure.
Here's a little glimpse at the bedroom suit. We still have to decide on a crib and dresser though. But, I'm leaning towards white or natural wood. I think it will look cutest with the pastel colors of the bedding.

Comment from mrsamanda » Posted Feb. 16, 2014 2:35pm I know! The flamingo is my favorite part! She's so adorable. And the mobile, if you notice, is a long flamingo neck and the mouth of it holds the part that spins. Hehe! I love the toucan, too! | |
