Doctor Appointment Update

So Thursday was our last prenatal appointment. Everything went well.

-Only gained 1 pound, so I am back to my starting weight. Hence, still no weight GAIN. I'm sure next time that won't be the case. Lol!
-Baby's gender was confirmed and she is still a SHE!
-All her parts and organs looked good!
-Heart rate was 154, if I'm remembering correctly.
-We are measuring on time and she is estimated to be about 14 ounces.
-Not much we can do about the pubic bone pain. It's just a thing we will have to deal with. Take some Tylenol if I need it, maybe try a support belt later on if it starts getting worse.
-Appointment after next (around 29 weeks) we will do the glucose test.
-Discussing my severely curved coccyx, dr says he can offer me a c-section, but when we get closer to 36 weeks he will start checking me and take a feel to see how much it would be in the way. Could possibly be fractured during birth. So, we will have to wait and see.

That's it for now! :)

I just had my 2nd C section less than 2 weeks ago. I was washing dishes less than 48 hrs after delivery. For whatever reason, the recovery was amazing this time (the first time round was a lot harder). My drs used dissolving staples. I believe that vaginal is best, however, if you do require surgery it isn't that horrendous. My scar from my first was below the hair line & about 1.5 inches long. You really had to look hard to find it. Research your options & talk with your dr! Congrats on a healthy baby girl! They're the best!

If you do get a csection, make sure your doctor doesn't use staples! I had stitches that dissolved and I healed so quickly! Also, I wore a csection recovery belt that help a lot!

Way to go on the weight gain! I started gaining last week and it REALLY freaked me out. :/

I'm just going off of my friends experiences that I know of. Painful and bit being able to function as well as you would without staples across your abdomen.

I've had2 csections and I was back to myself within a week. I don't think they are as bad as others say, but it depends on how the doctor does it and everyone's body is different.

I had a bad experience with a c section so I understand the want to do it natural. Hopefully it works out for you though. Good luck!! Fingers crossed for natural birth :)
