It was only a couple short weeks ago that I was hoping to finally feel this kid start moving, and now here I am getting my insides beat on. Lol! I feel it mostly in the front, lower abdomen area. It's so weird!! :P But, I am enjoying it. I'm just ready for my hubby to finally feel it from the outside.

We are moving next weekend. It's not much of a very far move, we're basically swapping houses with my neighbor/friend/landlord. It sounds stupid, because it is, and it is definitely not my choice. We started renting from her almost 2 years ago when she decided to move back in with her parents and go back to school, so we were covering her mortgage expenses and what not. She ended up getting pregnant and moved into the house next to us that her parents own so we didn't have to move again in the middle of our lease. Well, at the beginning of the year her and her new husband decided they wanted to get back into the place where we are now. We had planned on staying here and renting from her for probably another year or two before we were ready to buy. We still aren't ready to buy yet, so we really have no choice but to just start renting from her parents. I looked all over for something else, but couldn't find anything in our price range. Blah. It's not ideal, but it'll do for a year or two, I guess. I'm just irritated at the whole thing. I hate moving. Packing sucks. I'm not packing my whole entire house up to just walk it next door. Most of it can just be grabbed and taken to the new place. I'll have to pack up the kitchen and bathroom stuff in the cabinets and drawers for easier transport. One good thing about the move is that it has motivated us to get rid of a lot of stuff. Clothes, junk, etc. It feels good to get rid of some clutter. But at the same time, it's so hard to let go of some things. Clothes mainly. But, I know if I EVER wear them again it will be quite a while from now. Atleast I'm making a little cash on some of the stuff I have posted for sale on these "garage sale facebook pages" for my area. Idk about all of you, but it's a big thing from where I'm at.

I'm mostly excited to get moved and get started on the baby's room. We went and picked out a paint color for her walls and I can't wait to get started. We also picked out a color for the living room, because the color that the walls are now HAVE TO GO!

I had ordered a hot pink, glass lamp base for her room. Very cute. I have the idea of using a plain white drum lamp shade and adding some trim to the top and bottom to match the rest of the room. I found some trim last night at Wal-mart, but I want to shop around to see if I find anything cuter. I can't wait to get it done. I also saw something on Pinterest about lining the inside of the lamp with sequins, VERY cute, but I don't know if that'll be going overboard. Lol. I think I'll stick with the trim for now. I'll post a pic when I finish it, of course. :)
