Glucose Test

Well, I managed to pass the 3 hour glucose test! Thank You, God! I only had to do the first 2 hours because I passed the first 2 finger sticks and didn't need to stay the 3rd hour to prick my finger again. First stick had to be under 190 and mine was at 176. Second stick had to be under 165 and mine was at 104. So, I think I passed with flying colors! Lol! Just happy to not have to prick my finger all the time and watch what I eat like a hawk and count calories and such. Needless to say, I had a celebratory Coke Icee this afternoon and some garlic and spinach pizza for dinner! Ha!

In other news, today marks 28 weeks - THIRD TRIMESTER! Can't believe we are already this far. Only "12 weeks" to go... But, you never know, ya know. I feel terrible that we still haven't gotten started on her room yet, but I know once we do it won't take any time. It's already painted from the last people who lived here (a very light purple/lilac), it would do, but I don't really like purple of any shade, and my plan was to paint it this really pretty light blue to bring out the blue in her bedding (that is mostly pink with some purple and green and yellow...). Everyone I've told about the blue paint just kinda looks at me like, "You're really going to paint a girl's room blue?" But, they just don't have the vision in their head like I do. Most everything else going in the room is going to be pink of some sort. The furniture is white. Walls will be a pretty lightish, sky colored blue, and then the pretty, ornate mirror I've got for her is going to be like a hot pink, then her initials/monogram above her bed will be similar in hot pink. The lamp is a hot pink glass base with a white shade that will have custom trim on it to match the rest of her room. So... It's going to look pretty! I love aqua/turquoise blues with pinks. I think it's so pretty together! You'll see! I'll definitely be posting pictures once it's all put together and ready for her.

My sister picked a light ice/turquoise blue for her daughter's room. The color is fantastic and it's a great backdrop with corals and pinks.

Congrats on the glucose test! I knew you'd pass! YAY!
