Almost 3 Months!

I know I say this over and over again in my JE's but time is flying! Seriously, it is. How is it Thanksgiving already? Delaney will be 3 months actual on Thanksgiving Day and she will be two months adjusted on December 4th. To me, she looks and acts more like a 2 month old than a 3 month old but I think she's slowly catching up! She loves to give her big sister HUGE smiles - mommy and daddy don't get those yet though, she leaves the small smiles for us. :)
In my last JE I mentioned reflux being an issue and she seems to have grown out of it. We have the occasional spitting up but overall, it hasn't been bad at all. At her last doctor appointment at 2 months, she weighed 8lbs 2.5oz which I know for some people that sounds small but to me I thought it was great progress considering her weight exactly the month before was 6lbs 9oz. Her doc had wanted her to have gained more weight by that point but overall he was pleased. Over the last month she has stopped wearing newborn clothes and has been fitting into her 3 month clothes very nicely! I am so glad - I have a ton of clothes from her big sister and am so excited to have her wearing those clothes now! I only had a few newborn outfits and was getting sick of washing and wearing the same ones ;)
I also started back at work part time last week. My parents are watching her on the days I work and in January I will go back full-time and she will go to daycare with her sister. I can't say that I am happy to be back to work (long story) but I am happy to be back into a routine! I wish I could work part-time forever so I could be home with my girls more often, but that just isn't a reality right now. Maybe some day?
That is all for now! I will update next month after Delaney goes to the doctor and I see how much she weighs. I never thought I'd be so obsessed with weight gain but having a preemie definitely changed that :)
