Not pregnancy related, but I'm excited!

Last week, I finally convinced my husband to order me a Cricut machine. It came in the mail today! I'm so excited to see what I can make with it! It's the Explore One model. I made all the decorations for my daughter's birthday by hand, and desperately wanted to buy a machine to use, but my husband didn't like the cost. I convinced him last week by saying I might be able to sell things I make, and he was on board! I also crochet, but couldn't figure out knitting...

Are any of you ladies crafty? Do any of you have a Cricut machine (or any other die cutting machine)? If so, what projects have you made with it or plan to make with it? I'm so anxious to take it out of the box and play with it! But I have to find space to set it up first... I hate our tiny apartment... And my husband has claimed the desk as his, I currently have my laptop set up on a TableMate tray, hahaha.

That's awesome! I wish I knew how to sew! I've considered taking classes at one of the craft stores near me, but I wouldn't have anywhere to use the sewing machine. Our apartment is so small that we don't have our dining table set up. Maybe when we move once our lease is up I'll have more room! We're considering purchasing a house :)

I knit, for the longest time I was afraid of crochet. My friend tried to show me how and I just didn't get it. So I stuck with knitting, then I watched some youtube videos about crochet and viola! I caught on. Now that's all I pretty much do , unless I am making socks..those simply must be knitted. But theres nothing like being able to crochet a blanket in a weekend. I wish I had learned it long ago. I also sew, I have a vintage singer that is just beautiful and I love to use it. even without all the fancy stitches that the newer models come with I can make some pretty cool things. I rarely by storebought curtains, pillow cases, I make my own napkins and placemats and such. I haven't figured out clothing but that is the next thing I will teach myself, Harrison will def be getting some clothes made for him.
