So anxious for tomorrow!
By stephc2010 » Posted Sep. 23, 2015 6:43am - 186 views - 7 comments

My first appointment is tomorrow and I am SO anxious! Even though I'm 99% sure it's just meeting with the nurse to get my weight, height, health history, blood work, etc. I can't help but be excited to finally get this going. Last time, after the appointment with the nurse, I had an ultrasound the following week and an appointment with the midwife the week after that. Hopefully it will be the same this time around! I will feel so much better once I get an ultrasound and see a heartbeat and a healthy baby growing!

I've been dealing with a little bit of nausea and lots of fatigue. Also, my sense of smell has increased and I find myself gagging at certain smells. Food doesn't taste the same either, which makes eating difficult. But otherwise, I feel okay. :)

Thanks Libelula! I can't sleep because I'm so anxious! :( I've been nauseated all day and really tired, so that hasn't helped. I'll post a journal after I get home from my appointment. Hopefully I'll have the info on when I'll be getting an ultrasound (assuming I don't get one today!)! :)

Good luck! We are in such similar boats, what with our EDDs and symptoms and appointments! Can't wait to hear how it goes (even if there's no U/S...).

I should also add, he didn't go with me for the NT scan with my daughter. And that was the first time I heard the heartbeat and I wanted to cry because he missed it! I definitely don't want him to miss any special moments like that again!

Thank you aprilluvsmoz! I'm so anxious! I know in the back of my mind that I won't be getting an ultrasound, unless their routine changed within the past year and a half. I want an ultrasound right away, but at the same time, I don't. My husband isn't going to this appointment with me. I wouldn't want him to miss out on an ultrasound!

Good luck at your appointment! It sounds like you are having the exact same symptoms I had at 7 weeks (fatigue and gagging at smells).
