35 Weeks

How far along? 35 Weeks - 88% complete!
Which trimester are you in? 3rd trimester, finally getting into the home stretch!
How many days until your due date? 35 days!
How big is baby? Size of a honeydew melon!
What milestones has your baby reached this week? Physical development is complete (according to BabyCenter) and she's just working on gaining weight, so I'll probably eliminate this question next week. :)
What are some of your pregnancy symptoms? Braxton hicks, some lower back pain, peeing often, itchy belly, just general pressure and some slight cramps, plus a little bit of swelling in my feet if I've done a lot of walking for the day.
Any cravings? Ice cream.
Any food aversions? Nope.
What emotions have you experienced this week? Stress. =/
Are you wearing maternity clothes yet? Yep!
Have any stretch marks? Yep... Getting worse due to the itchy belly.
How much weight have you gained? 25lbs.
Belly button in or out? Mostly out.
Wedding rings on or off? Still on, but get some slight swelling every now and then.
Felt any movement? She's still wiggling a lot, but I can tell she's running out of room in there!
Gender? Girl.
How has your sleep been? Could be better. Waking up to pee often and usually waking up drenched in sweat :(
Are you nesting? I'm trying so hard to get the motivation to get stuff set up for her. Hoping to sort through baby clothes and start washing things this week.
Labor signs? Just braxton hicks and lately some mild cramps and back pain, but nothing significant yet.
What was your best moment last week? My doctor's appointment. Baby girl was head down, so hopefully she stays that way!
What are you looking forward to this week? Just looking forward to spending time with my husband and daughter, as we enjoy the last few weeks with her as an only child!

 | Comment from stephc2010 » Posted Apr. 5, 2016 5:11am I'm definitely both excited and nervous! I have a feeling I'll be late again with this one. Although I'm kind of hoping to go even just a few days early! The itching on my stomach is making me miserable. I fear it's PUPPS (I swear up and down I had it after my first, being one of the "rare" cases that gets it worse AFTER delivery, but nurses kept bushing it off! I mentioned it to my midwife this time and she said it sounds like that's what it was and reassured me it's rare in 2nd pregnancies... But apparently, rare is "normal" for me since I got it worse after delivery... =/ ). It's starting on my stomach again and nothing seems to help with the itching. It does come and go, but when it's there, it's agonizing. I enjoy being pregnant for the most part, but I am SO uncomfortable lately! This little one can come at any point after 37 weeks. Hopefully she won't be like her sister and wait until nearly 41... Lol! |
