Early Stage Labor, Maybe??

I'm so ready to meet this little girl!
Earlier DH and I took advantage of Allison's nap time and DTD to see if it would get anything going. I ended up taking a nap afterward, woke up in time to watch the hockey game (Go Caps!) and noticed contractions on and off during the entire game. I decided to start timing them around 10 pm. They're somewhat sporadic, so I wouldn't be surprised if it will fizzle into nothing... But so far, after timing for about an hour and a half, they're coming anywhere from 8-15 minutes apart (earlier, it was 10-15 minutes, but the last 3 have been coming under 10 minutes!). They're lasting anywhere from 40-50 seconds long and definitely aren't extremely painful, but more like mild cramps with the tightening. Here's to hoping this is the start of something. ANYTHING! :) Better finish packing my hospital bags just in case! :)
Otherwise, I have an appointment on Monday. Hope all of you ladies have a wonderful Mother's Day! I'll be sure to update if this results in a trip to L&D or if it turns into nothing! :)

I just want them to stay consistent before I call the midwife! I'll be sure to take all my bags with me tomorrow (assuming contractions don't remain consistent tonight) since we're an hour away from the hospital! |

They lasted about 2-3 hours and were consistently 10 minutes apart, then got as close as 5 minutes apart for a little while. I took a shower and they ended up fizzling out. :( I took a long nap, and they're back at about 10 minutes apart now! May end up calling the midwife in a little while if they continue like this! Since I have group B strep, I know I need to get there in time to get at least 1 dose of antibiotics! |
