Madelyn is ONE!

I haven't updated anything in MONTHS and I'm sorry about that!
Madelyn Grace turned 1 year old this past Tuesday. We celebrated her birthday the Sunday beforehand!
She's been walking since 11 months and eats whatever we're eating. She's such a crazy little girl! Way different than Allison was! She has a total of 4 teeth. Her two bottom teeth and her top two lateral incisors have just cut through. Funny that those grew in before her top middle teeth! She's gonna look like a little vampire for a little while :)
Her and Allison play together most of the day and it's so cute to watch!
She's already had her 1 year checkup and weighed 18lbs even and was a whopping 31.5 inches long, making her in the 99th percentile for height!
Now that she is 1, we are slowly working on weaning from breastfeeding. As much as I love nursing, she is a biter! Allison learned right away that if she bites, she didn't get anymore milk. That doesn't work with Madelyn. She thinks it's just SO funny to see me in pain apparently, lol
I'm attaching a picture of Madelyn from her 1 year photo session we had done in April (I know, not quite a year old, but I needed the pictures for her party invitations, lol).
I don't recognize a lot of faces on here anymore, but good luck to everyone!! While my husband and I have no immediate plans to add another to our family, I imagine we'll be considering trying again within the next 2 years. We both really want a son, so it's not a matter of "if" it's a matter of "when" ;)
