24 weeks!

Yay! I have hit another milestone. The week of viability. I'm so excited about this. Only 16 more weeks to go! This last week has been really rough. My gall bladder and stomach ulcers have been giving me a hard time. I've been in some of the worst pain of my life. Monday, the pain had me screaming and crying so hard it was giving me contractions. So I spent a good portion of the day in the OB ward on the monitors and having my cervix checked. They finally sent me home on bed rest for the rest of the night. Pain was still pretty bad yesterday, but it seems to have eased up today. Aleena is doing great! Doctors were very surprised by her strength and movement Monday for only 23 weeks. My belly looks like it's dancing all day long. She kicks, punches, and rolls very hard and fast. She calms down as soon as she feels daddy's hands on my belly, though. Very cute!

They tell me to take Tylenol, but it doesn't help the pain in the slightest. So I haven't been taking anything.

Thank goodness baby is doing well but mom needs to be feeling good too! Are they able to give you any pain relief?

Mine go away for like a month or so then come back, thats why they decided not to do mine. I hope you find some way to get through it. I know it is hard :(

Thanks everyone! And tasha.. They decided not to do the surgery until two weeks after she is born. They were going to do it last month, but my uterus was higher than they thought. Since I'm so thin, they said they don't have enough area to work with and not be operating with baby right there with them. It would pose very dangerous risks to her at this point, so I made the decision to just deal with the pain the best I can. It's not always easy, but I know it's worth it!

Im 26 weeks and have the same issues. Qhat is going on with you galbladder? Have they considered taking it out during your pregnancy? My doc is considering it. I am on a very strict diet and it seems to have helped a great ton with attacks.
