29 weeks

Well I made it to 29 weeks. Every week is a blessing. A huge blessing! I am on day 3 of horrible menstrual type cramps that are pretty constant and in the front and back. The contractions are stronger, and sometimes frequent and sometimes spaced out. Having a lot more BM's the last few days out of nowhere which is making things even worse. I just don't feel well at all. All the cramping is making me quite nauseated. I just keep praying this is a phase and isn't going to continue for the remaining 11 weeks of pregnancy. I have not had my cervix checked in a week. So I don't know if it's still at 1cm or more. But I feel deep down that it's more. I mean... I don't know how it couldn't be with all of these horrible contractions and all of the cramping. Speaking of which .... here comes one now. :( My sweetie pie and my little girls are really trying to help around the house. They want the baby to stay in longer, too. If she comes now, I will have to travel to the University hospital, because we don't have an NICU here. Which means my girls probably won't get to see me much until we bring baby home. Which could be a couple months. So... I just keep praying she stops trying to bust out early. I've been chugging water and doing everything they are telling me to do. I failed my 1 hour glucose test last Friday, so I have a 3 hour test tomorrow. I've seen enough people on here fail the first one and pass the second one, that I'm really not worried about it at all. It's the least of my problems at this point. I had a weird episode yesterday at work where I couldn't sit still. I kept having to get up and pace back and forth outside. Not to mention it is chilly out and I was sweating profusely in a sleeveless shirt. That was really weird. Lasted about 3 hours. The ladies at work thought for sure I was going into labor. Lol! I like keeping them on their toes. We got the dresser last night, and it's all assembled and looks great! Only things left on the list are a swing and a baby bath. Other than nursing tanks and bras. We are so ready for this baby whenever she does decide to make an appearance. :)

I agree Rosemarie about it being anxiety. I already have chronic anxiety, and I'm sure all of these issues are just triggering it full force.

Yay 29 weeks! Sorry you're having a hard time, though. I hope baby decides to stay put for a long while yet!

Thinking of you! The pacing/sweating is exactly how my anxiety attacks present, you've got so much on your plate and your mind it could be that, just getting overwhelmed. Hope this phase passes soon and your little one stays put for a good long while!

I hope the cramps and contractions stop for you and she decides to stay in there and incubate longer :). Good luck on your 3 hour test tomorrow. Bring you phone and some books to keep you busy. I watched Netflix the whole time and it went my pretty fast. Sounds like you are definitely ready for when she does arrive!

I told God that if I can make it to at least Thanksgiving, I won't ask for more!
