37 Weeks! Doc Appointment...
By Summer0120 » Posted Dec. 30, 2015 10:59am - 344 views - 6 comments

Hello Early Term! Turns out that the indigestion pain I've been having yesterday and today is a sign of my body about to "clear itself out". She said that active labor will probably make me start vomiting if I'm already feeling the nausea and indigestion. Yay... sounds fun. When do we start? Lol! I guess I misunderstood last week and I was not 100% effaced. She said she could feel all the way through. I was 3cm and 80% and posterior. Now I am 3cm, 90% effaced, and anterior. Baby girl is still head down like she has been since week 26. She's still active with a strong heartbeat. Everything looked great! They gave me the choice again to stay and get monitored and checked again in a couple hours, or go home. So where am I? At work. Lol! Dedicated Pepsi girl I suppose. I officially made my last day of work January 8th to my boss today. That's only if she doesn't come sooner. But I'm not getting my hopes up anymore. Again the doctor (different one this time) said, "Go ahead and schedule your appointment next week, but I'm sure we'll see you before then." I just wanted to be like, "Oh I'm sure I'll be here at 8am for my next appointment!" Of course I'm having lots of contractions, but what's new? Been doing that for a couple months now. I'm not going to take much seriously anymore until I can't breathe or talk or walk through contractions or my water breaks. Best to just take it day by day....

Lol rcorinne! I keep saying the same thing!!
Amanda... I've always loved Pepsi products, so it's fitting that I work for a distribution company. I am the sales analyst, so Ilove getting the 411 on new upcoming products!

Bless your heart. You'll probably be skeptical until baby is exiting. Hah! I also got the raspberry leaf tea to start drinking when I reach 34 weeks. I'm skeptical as to its uses but I'll pretty much try anything to make I'm no longer pregnant the morning my cesarean is scheduled. :-) I'll keep you in my thoughts, sugar, don't overdue it. P.S. Despite being from the home of Coke, I'm a Pepsi enthusiast, if you wanted to send samples or coupons my way... Just saying...

Everyone has told me to go get some raspberry leaf tea and a fresh pineapple after work. They said it doesn't work if your body isn't ready, but it will help speed things along if you're already close to labor. Might be worth a shot. I love tea and pineapple anyways. Wouldn't mind a New Years Eve baby! :)
