Be Still My Heart!

So today is the big day (I guess one of many to come over the next nine months)! This evening I will tell my husband that not only do I not have PCOS but we're finally expecting baby number two after eight months of trying. Though I won't say it to him, this is almost all because of his efforts last cycle. He saw how down I was getting over my bfns, knowing we missed important BD time, etc. and he decided to put forth his absolute best effort before he would agree to give in, let me worry and let me involve doctors. Though he works hard and loses his daily drive like any other human, he summoned his inner bunny and we BD'd 13 times between cd8 and 10dpo (roughly 30 days not counting menses). Every time we skipped was because I was tired and needed a break so my honey can take the credit for this little angel (since the last one was all me ;-) ). Anyway, the fourth of July is the eighth anniversary of our first date. We celebrate it every year since we were together two years before we got married and we're going to a nice dinner tonight (a day early and taking our son now that he knows how to conduct himself in public). I made a shirt as a hint and wrapped it, as well as my glaringly obvious hpt, to gift him at the restaurant. I just know he's going to be thrilled, both that we're pregnant and that I don't have PCOS, so why am I so nervous?? Say a prayer for me! Thanks for reading!

It was Mother's Day, and I just had a feeling when I woke up at 6am to pee for the second time. I thought I was seeing things, so I had to wake him up to confirm there really was two lines. I wish now I would have kept it a secret to surprise him! I hope you guys have a great dinner, and can't wait to hear about his reaction. :) |
