Tomorrow I will be both 24 weeks and six months pregnant. Wow. Thanks to my energy being back and all the holidays to prepare for, plus getting ready for another baby, time has finally started chugging right along. I wouldn't say it's 'flying by' but at least it's no longer dragging like it was earlier on. On Thursday, I go back to my OBGYN for the dreaded glucose test as well as an off-schedule ultrasound. When we were there last time, they were able to see her gender and glimpse her heart but they said they couldn't see all four chambers so they want to look again. Good Heavens, I hope she was just laying at an odd angle and there isn't a problem with her heart. They say she has a good, strong heartbeat but I'm not sure that means there are no issues... *Sigh* That would definitely reinflate the worry being relieved over reaching the point of viability for Caroline this week. I was also surprised to see my weight gain has stalled. I have literally avoided the scale since my last appointment but wanted there to be no more surprises when I went back in so I hopped on. I still weigh the same as then, four or five weeks ago. I've been eating more organic and rarely any fast food and I guess it helped. Let's hope it shows on my glucose test. I passed the one-hour with Sebastian and my family doesn't have a history of diabetes but I now am hyperthyroid and I read that can increase your odds, though mine is balanced on a lower dosage of Levothyroxine. I've decided, while I'm pregnant, to use my OB to monitor it instead of paying two different offices. My endocrinologist's staff pisses me off so the less I see them the better. Maybe, in the meantime over the next three or so months, I'll find a new endo to treat me. Other than that, not a lot is new with the McDaniels. My husband was promoted to Staff Sergeant with the Air Force finally and I've already started planning Sebastian's fifth birthday party next month. He wants Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and it's like I've been preparing for this moment since the 90s. Keeping my mind busy on tasks does seem to help with my recent grief and stress so I've actually been getting a ton done. P.S. Pair your nesting with watching a Hoarding: Buried Alive marathon and your house will be spotless by noon. Haha!

Comment from Libelula264 » Posted Nov. 9, 2015 12:10pm WOW, it seems like both of us were still on CTP like a month ago! I remember when I posted my first bump photo and you were 14 weeks. Whooooosh time flies.
Comment from pbc910 » Posted Nov. 9, 2015 11:14am Yay 6 months! Congrats to your husband! OMG I watched Hoarders last weekend and it never made me want to clean my house more! I started quickly gaining weight at 20 weeks and was thinking I wasn't going to stop but it eventually leveled off for a good 5-6 weeks. The weight gain has picked back up but I know that's mostly babies growing.
Comment from MalPal85 » Posted Nov. 9, 2015 9:54am Same thing happened to me. Had to go back so they could see all 4 chambers. I was just glad that I got to see my baby again, haha. Congrats to your husband on the promotion!
