I was 1 cm at 32 weeks. The next time we had sex, 36 weeks, I went into labor within about six hours. I'd talk to your doctor. I was very favorable for labor by the time we had sex, though. I was 2 cm by then and 50% effaced.

I was 1cm for weeks...sex did nothing!

I not really sure the anwser either but I have heard from others that you can stay at 1-2cm for weeks at a time. Definately a question for your OB though. Call them! Best wishes!
