Q: 12 weeks and woke up to spotting

Hello ladies! I am freaking out! Woke up to 4 am to use restroom, and when I wiped I noticed some pink blood, followed by some brownsih reddish blood, no cramps. I freaked out and woke up my hubby who calmed me down. I was able to fall asleep but made an appt for this afternoon, no more bleeding. I had a missed misscarriage in feb and just want to know if my baby is ok =(

I have heard pregnancy bleeding is common around weeks 4,8,12,16 ect as thats the time the body would have a period ...but the body recognizes its pregnant so ur lining isnt shed, if your worried get cked out by your dr as they are the only ones who can deff tell u all is well :)

I've had this several times this pregnancy; it was double scary for me at first because I never had any spotting with my first son, and I just had a m/c a few months before this pregnancy (which was long and drawn out with lots of spotting/bleeding). Unfortunately -or fortunately, depending on your point of view- you can get spotting from all sorts of stuff, from lifting something, sex, constipation or any bowel movement; it's not just miscarriages that cause bleeding. So far there have been no problems with my baby; I am now 30 weeks (my last spotting was ~23 weeks). Just try not to stress too much and get to the docs as soon as you can; that is all you can do. /hugs!

I had the same thing 2 days ago. I'm 11 weeks and started freaking out when I saw pink blood on tissue and on top of that, I was cramping. Bleeding had stopped when I went to the ER. Everything was normal. If it's just spotting, it's normal. sometimes, after sex you spot too...that's normal too. I hope everything goes well for u!
