Hi. I don't have a Bipolar partner but I do know someone who does. His on his medication thou, but when his not on em he doesn't cope well. When my friend who is now almost @ her due date broke the news to him, there were phases of different emotions from him. There were days he was ecstatic some days he just wasn't into the whole idea of being a father. I strongly advise to keep the person on their medication. They can have normal lives given they stay on their meds. Best of luck and God bless.
