Q: Anyone pregnant with twins? or more?

I'm just curious as to whether women pregnant with multiples have different symptoms in pregnancy other than the normal symptoms.

is morning sickness always worse with multiples? is there any symptoms you had/have that were kind of a tip off that you're carrying more than one?

yeah, the test im doing is ultrasound and bloodwork in the same day. im not really sure if i think there is two in there or not, thats why i was asking this question lol to see if maybe there was some clues. the only thing that leads me to believe i may be carrying twins is this back pain i have! it really kills me most days. im just not sure if its from my previous pregnancy, childbirth and resulting child who is now a toddler lol or if its just a symptom of this pregnancy. id be mindblown and accepting of the challenge of twins, but im really hoping there's just one baby in there lol. im just feeling very off compared to my last pregnancy and its makes me suspicious that something is up.

My baby B's nuchal fold was larger than I should've been when I had my first ultrasound and they warned me about possible heart defects or down syndrome but they did a blood test at 12 weeks to determine if the baby would have downs and it came back negative thankfully. He doesn't have a heart defect either. The problem corrected itself.

Are you hoping for twins or do you just have a feeling it may be?

jan 6th. my doc told me since i knew when my lmp was, and she was confident everything was ok, she's giving me an ultrasound to do a nuchal translucency test. i wanted an u/s at 11wks but the hospital booking lady told me they like to wait until 12wks so jan 6th, ill be 12wks. today ive been experiencing alot of sharp-ish achy lower back pain. it kinda seems to come and go every few days.

My boobs were super sore in the beginning too. I also started having back pain early and never really went away the whole pregnancy. Two babies is really tough to carry that's for sure. Idk how some women do more than two. Having twins has kind of always been in the back of my head, I've always wanted them but didn't actually think it would happen. It could just be that you are just having different symptoms from your other pregnancy too. When will your first ultrasound be???

so far ive had some ms. its not as bad as it was with my first, but its definitely present. my doctor gave me an Rx for diclectin, but so far, it has done nothing but make me tired, and im still getting sick. im only 8wks4days but ive been experiencing ALOT of lower back pain. thats whats making me wonder if there is more than 1 fetus in there lol. but i also had an epidural and (im guna call it) back labour when i had my son, so im wondering if that could be the cause too. ive also been experiencing pain in my breasts like nothing ive ever felt before. it feels like someone flicked my nipples really hard, they hurt soooo bad! i get it on the sides too, sharp stinging pains.

This is my 3rd pregnancy and first with twins. My symptoms were more this time around. I have two boys already and felt I certainly either had one strong girl or two babies based on how I felt. I had my first BFP on 8 DPO and from then on came the nausea and boob tenderness. I found out at 8 wks there were 2 babies. Never had any actual vomit but the nausea wore me out. Also had lots of early spotting/bleeding just after finding out there were 2. I had no ms or other symptoms with my first two pregnancies. Only thing was I became more sensitive to spicy foods with those two. This time around I'm now 22 wks along. It's much harder on my body than the last (he is 5). Back aches around 10wks and still going. Restless too, sleep is not very good. I've apparently moved onto the stuffy nose bit as well, which doesn't help my sleep. I find it harder day by day to get up from a lying position too!
Good luck to you!!

I am 9 wks pregnant with twins and I've had more nausea with this pregnancy ( though my other 2 ended in miscarriage). I've also had pretty bad back pain and more cramping. I thought for sure I would have really bad breast tenderness, but I'm not. I think everyone and pregnancy is different.

I had my twins in October and to me it seemed that all the pregnancy symptoms were more intense. In the beginning the morning sickness was so bad which was strange for me because I barely had any for my other pregnancies. Then of course carrying two is just more of a strain on your body than one so I was pretty miserable the whole time. I also started showing almost immediately. I didn't have my first ultrasound til 10 weeks and I alrady had a belly by then which I thought was way too early to start showing but was from maybe eating too much haha nope I was surprised with twins!

Are you thinking you may be carrying more than one in there??
