2nd appointment

I had my 2nd appointment today at the mat clinic. We tried to hear the heartbeat in the Doppler but couldn’t find it. If this was my first I’d probably be stressing, but we had some trouble finding my son’s at 14 weeks plus I heard it 2 nights ago on my home Doppler. Found out I have a subchorionic hemmorage as seen on the ultrasound a few weeks ago. I haven’t had any spotting but food to know. I have my appt with the high risk OB next Wednesday and I also have my NT scan that same morning. I went to the lab after my appt today for the first round of SIPS testing. I go for the 2nd round in and around August 16th. I was given a prescription for a stronger med I can take if in get another killer multi-day headache. I’ve had a couple the past couple weeks and they’ve lasted 2/3 days which have been horrible as I’ve had to max out my Tylenol dose and caffeine to try and get it to break. Having a nap and sleeping it off doesn’t quite work with a toddler running around. My son also learned to climb out of his crib so we’ve had to make the move to a bed much earlier than I had planned. That’s all for now.

Comment from calvingirl » Posted Jul. 22, 2019 2:41pm The first trimester sucks so bad...I hated the headaches. I'm not a headache person so they really laid me out. I can't imagine taking care of a toddler on top of it. Hope it passes soon! | |
Comment from cmere84 » Posted Jul. 18, 2019 8:41pm Sorry about your headaches... and about the school.. I'm glad that it has not caused any drama so far! Still so exciting! |
