Q: Should I have sex?

Yes I know silly question but want to be safe. I had a miscarriage two months ago and now pregnant again. I don't see my dr for another few weeks and I am wondering if it is safe to have sex with a history of miscarriage during first trimester?
Thanks for your advice.

I also had a misscarriage in September. Now I'm 8W6D. My OB said it is better not to have sex now. He recomended us to wait until W12. I guess I prefer to wait. But I guess each body is different. I think it wouldn't be so hard to wait until you see your OB.

Good luck and congrats for the baby!!

Unless dr determined your miscarriages were due to a complication with your body then sex shouldn't affect it. If you see blood the next day or something then you know to have gentler sex ;). I've had two miscarriages and my doc says if it's going to happen it's going to happen but if there's cause for concern they'll put you on pelvic rest. Do what you feel comfortable with but you should be fine. Good luck to you!
